We list events; we don't run them

This site is a discovery tool. We gather event listings that others publish as government open data and show where each one came from. We don't organize, host or sell tickets for any event, we don't endorse any event, and we don't check each listing ourselves.

Events can change, move, be cancelled or already be over, and listings can be out of date or wrong. Before you go, rely on the time, place and price the organizer publishes; every event links to its original source. The data is refreshed from time to time, usually every few weeks, so a new event may not appear right away; each popup shows the date we last checked. We don't guarantee that the information is complete, accurate or current.

The events themselves, tickets, refunds and safety at the venue are the responsibility of the organizers and ticket sellers, not this site.

Sources and credit

Event data comes from government open data (the Ministry of Culture, the Tourism Administration and others) under the Open Government Data License, version 1. Each event's popup shows its source, license and update time. Map data comes from OpenStreetMap contributors and others; see Credits.

No endorsement

This is an independent project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency, event organizer or data provider named above.

Outside links, calendar and directions

Ticket, event, Google Calendar and directions links go to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or policies. Calendar files and directions are a convenience, so rely on the organizer's published time and place. Saved events live only in your browser and we don't back them up.

Cultural content

The animal and Indigenous-heritage notes on the map are brief summaries, not authoritative accounts. Corrections from members of the communities concerned are welcome.

Acceptable use

Please don't scrape the site in bulk with automated tools or interfere with how it runs.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the site is provided "as is" and we are not liable for loss arising from using it or being unable to use it, except for loss caused by our intent or gross negligence.

Corrections and takedowns

If you are an organizer or rights holder and want something corrected or removed, write to hello@baobutler.com and we will deal with it promptly. Replies come from the site's owner and may come from a personal email address.
